My name is Lope Aboderin, the founder, and creative director of Higherground Photography, a portrait studio dedicated to celebrating the beauty, emotions, and stories of families. I photograph the purity of newborns, the vibrant growth of children, the regal strength of women, and the noble love that holds families together.
My work is rooted in the belief that every stage of life deserves to be honoured, preserved, and remembered. Whether I’m photographing a newborn, a playful toddler, an expressive child, a radiant mum, or a full family, my goal is the same:
to create images that go beyond what you look like but reflect who you truly are.
With years of hands-on experience in Family Portraits, Children’s Photography, Milestone Sessions, Maternity, and Newborn Photography, my approach blends Artistic direction, defined technical skill, A deep understanding of emotion and connection

My background in Political Science from Tai Solarin University of Education may sound unusual for a photographer, but it shaped me into a storyteller who values empathy, depth, and human connection.
Today, I blend my artistic eye with my love for teaching. I have years of experience in Children and family Photography training with the best photographers in the industry.
